PART V - GUARANTEE AND CONTROL OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM

Section 91. Teaching of Islamic Religion shall be with tauliah.

(1) Except the teaching of the reading of the Quran, no one shall teach or give explanation regarding the teachings of the Religion of Islam to persons other than the members of his household, without a tauliah from His Royal Highness the Sultan.

(2) A person who is given a tauliah to teach or give explanation about the Religion of Islam shall comply with the conditions and directions of the Majlis regarding the matter and the Majlis may at any time suspend, withdraw or cancel the said tauliah.

(3) The Majlis, with the approval of His Royal Highness the Sultan, may make rules concerning the procedure, requirements and other matters connected with the giving of the tauliah under this section.
