PART IX - PENALTIES
Section 128. Ill-treatment of spouse.
A husband or wife who ill-treats his wife or her husband or cheats his wife or her husband of her or his property, as the case may be, commits and offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not xceeding six months or with both such fine and imprisonment.
