PART V - OFFENCES

Section 99. Attempts and abetment.

(1) Whoever attempts to commit, or abets the commission of any offence against this Enactment shall be punishable with the same punishment as if he had committed such offence.

(2) Any person not professing the Islamic Religion who abets any person who to his knowledge professes the Islamic religion on the commission of any offence against this Enactment, other than an offence against section 93 thereof, shall be guilty of an offence cognizable by a Magistrates Court and shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the Penal Code.
