Section 14.Failure to perform Friday prayers.
Any male person, being baligh, who fails to perform the Friday prayers in a mosque within his kariah for three consecutive weeks without uzur syarie or without any reasonable cause shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
