Section 13. Application for leave to appeal.
(1) An appeal or application for leave to appeal under section 12(4) shall be made to the Syariah High Court in accordance with the prescribed procedure, but shall, in any case, be within the period of fourteen days from the date of the judgment, order or decision in respect of which the application is made.
(2) The Syariah High Court, on hearing any application for leave to appeal, may, on special ground extend the period of appeal notwithstanding that the time has expired.
