Section 28. Disregarding order of the Ruler.

Whoever disobeys or disregards the order of the Ruler in respect of the commencement of Ramadan, Hari Raya Fitrah or Hari Raya Haji, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
