PART VIII - MAINTENANCE OF DEPENDANTS
Section 118. Wives.
(1) A married woman may by application in the Court of a Kathi obtain an order against her husband for the payment from time to time of any such sums in respect of her maintenance as she may be entitled to in accordance with Muslim law.
(2) A woman who has been divorced may by application in the Court of a Kathi obtain an order against her former husband for the payment in respect of the period of eddah, if the divorce was by one or two talak, or in any case in respect of the period of her pregnancy by the former husband, of any such sum in respect of her maintenance as she may be entitled to in accordance with Muslim law.
