Section 142. Annulment of Marriage by deception of wife.

Any female Muslim who due to her dislike for he husband, creates an excuse by disavowing the Religion of Islam with the intention of getting her marriage annulled, shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both.
