Section 119. When witness need to be examined.

When the witnesses had given syahadah, the Judge shall ask the witnesses questions to ensure the truth of the evidence of the witnesses.

Explanation - If a witness is not telling the truth, or a witness is adil but he has made mistakes in his evidence, or a witness has forgotten the facts, or a witness is adil but he denies the accusation, the Judge shall make no decision, except, first and foremost, to ascertain whether the witness is adil or otherwise by open examination in the Court or by secret examination.
