PART XIX - EXECUTION



Section 147. Deposit of expenses.

(1) The bailiff shall not be obliged to take any action under an order for execution until the judgment creditor shall have deposited a sum sufficient in the opinion of the bailiff tp defray any expenses of the execution, including those of keeping possession for a period not exceeding 14 days. If the bailiff has to remain in possession for more than 14 days, he may require a further deposit and, if the same be not furnished, may release the property.

(2) The bailiff shall account for all sums so deposited and may pay any amounts due to the judgment creditor or into Court.
