Section 110. Offence of giving false information.

Any person who, in an application for registration under section 106 or in response to any request for information or evidence made by the Registrar of Muallaf under that section, wilfully furnishes to the Registrar of Muallaf false or misleading information or evidence, commits an offence and shall on conviction be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or both.
