Section 26. Power on escape to pursue and re-take.
If a person in lawful custody excapes or is rescued, the person from whose custody he ascaped or was rescued may immediately pursue and arrest him in any place, either within or without the jurisdiction where he was so in custody, and deal with such person as he might have done on the original taking.
