PART VII - MOSQUES

Section 85. Majlis to be sole trustess of mosque and related land.

(1) Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in any written instrument, the Majlis shall be the sole trustee of all mosques in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan.

(2) Every mosque, together with the land on which it stands and any land which is appurtenant to and used for the purposes of the mosque, other than State land or land reserved for a public purpose, shall, immediately upon registration under the written law relating to land, and without any conveyance, assignment or transfer, vest in the Majlis for the purposes of this Enactment.
