PART IV - BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
Section 18. Board shall comply with curriculum made by the Majlis.
(1) Every Board shall-
(a) comply with the curriculum made by the Majlis or such curriculum as certified by the Majlis;
(b) use such text books as so certified by the Majlis;
(c) conduct such programmes in respect of training for teachers as may be prescribed; and
(d) to hold such examinations as specified by the Majlis.
(2) Any Board which contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both and in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding three hundred ringgit for each day or part of a day the offence continues after conviction.
