PART III - REGISTRATION OF SCHOOLS

Section 5. Registration.

(1) No person shall---

(a)

establish a school; or

(b)

continue to operate a school after the expiry of the period of 6 months from the commencement of this Enactment if the school is in existence before the commencement of this Enactment,

unless the person has obtained approval for the registration of the school under subsection 6(5).

(2) The Registrar may if satisfied that there are proper and just grounds, on a written application, extent the period specified under paragraph 1(b) provided that such further period shall not exceed 3 months.

(3) Any person who contravenes the provision of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.
