Section 122. Suspension of execution in certain cases.
If an offender has been sentenced to fine only and to imprisonment in default of payment of the fine and the Court issues a warrant under the section 121, it may suspend the execution of the sentence of imprisonment and may release the offender on his executing a bond, with sureties as the Court thinks fit, conditioned for his appearance before such Court on the day appointed for the return of such warrant, such day not being more than fifteen days from the time of executing the bond; and in the event of the fine not being realised the Court may direct the sentence of imprisonment to be carried into execution at once.
