ENACTMENT NO. 1 OF 1949 COUNCIL OF RELIGION AND MALAY CUSTOM ENACTMENT, 1369 (1949)
Section 10. Petua.
The Council shall have power either of its own motion or at the request of any person to make rulings on any point of Islamic doctrine. Any such ruling which has been assented by His Highness the Raja and notified in the Gazette shall be binding upon all Muslims in the State.
