Section 27. Acting in emergency.

(1) In any case of emergency, the Chairman may, after consultation with the Minister, do or direct to be done on behalf of the Majlis any act or thing that may lawfully be done by resolution of the Majlis.

(2) Where any act or thing is done pursuant to subsection (1), a meeting of the Majlis shall be held within one week thereafter for the purpose of ratifying and confirming the act or thing done, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri may give such directions with respect thereto as he thinks fit.
