Section 75. Restriction on new mosques.

(1) No person shall, without the permission in writing of the Majlis, erect any mosque or dedicated or otherwise apply any existing building as or for the purpose of a mosque.

(2) Such permission shall in no case be given unless the site of the proposed new mosque or the existing building aforesaid has been or is made a wakaf.
