ADMINISTRATION OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS (TERENGGANU) ENACTMENT 1422H/2001M

PART IX. - RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Section 102. Islamic Religious Education Supervisory Committee.

(1) The Majlis shall appoint a committee to be the Islamic Religious Education Supervisory Committee, which consist of-

(a)

the Mufti as a Chairman; and

(b)

not less than three and not more than seven persons with appropriate experience, knowledge and expertise.

(2) The Secretary of the Majlis shall be the Secretary to Islamic Religious Education Supervisory Committee and shall responsible for imp1ementing the decisions of the Committee.

(3) The Islamic Religious Education Supervisory Committee shall have power to grant a tauliah for the purpose of the teaching of the religion of Islam or any aspect of the religion of Islam and to withdraw such tauliah.

(4) The Majlis may make regulations providing for-

(a)

the procedure, requirements and other matters relating to the granting of a

tauliah

under this section, including the fees chargeable; and

(b)

the procedure of the Islamic Religious Education Supervisory Committee.
