Section 68. Power of the Majlis relating to Baitul-Mal.

(1) The Majlis may make rules for and regulate all matters in connection with the collection, administration and disposal of property or money belonging to Baitul-Mal.

(2) Without prejudice to the foregoing generality the Majlis with the approval of the Ruler, may make rules-

(a)

to provide for the method by which the property or money of a deceased Muslim shall be paid to Baitul-Mal;

(b)

for the appointment of officers for the collection of property or money due to Baitul-Mal;

(c)

to provide penalties for any person who commits a breach of any of the rules.
