Section 128. Collecting charity without authority.

Any person who collects or carries out any activity to collect money or any donation for a charity without the written authority· of the Majlis, or is negligent in following the conditions imposed by the Majlis regarding such ma"tter as is provided for in this Enactment, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both and the court may order any money or property which has been collected to be delivered to the Baitulmal.
