Section 121. Contempt of authority of Majlis.

Any person who disobeys, infringes, objects to or treats with contempt the authority and command of His Royal Highness the Sultan in his capacity as the Head of the Religion of Islam in the State, or the order of the Majlis, any committee, the members and the officers of the Majlis, any court or the presiding officers thereof, Penyelia Agama, pegawai masjid or any person who is given authority shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
