PART IV - OFFENCES RELATING TO THE SANCTITY OF RELIGION AND ITS INSTITUTION
| (1) Anyone who gambles or is found to be present in a place of gambling whether or not he gambles commits an offence and shall, on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both. (2) For the purpose of subsection (1) "place of gambling" means any premises whether open or closed and includes a room, office or stall whether the public or members entitled to access thereto, use or keep for any game of chance or a combination of chance and skill, whether legally or otherwise for money or monetary benefit. |
