Section 73. Examination of complainant.
(1) When a Kadi takes cognisance of an offence on complaint the Kadi shall at once examine the complaint upon oath as in Form 4A in the Schedule and the substance of the examination shall be reduced to writing and shall be signed by the complainant and also by the Kadi.
(2) This section shall not apply to a complaint of an offence where a summons is applied for in a summons case made by a Penyelia Agama or by a public servant acting in his official capacity.
