Section 12. Devolution of powers.

All rights, powers, duties and liabilities which were, immediately before the commencement of this Enactment, vested in or imposed on the Majlis Ugama Islam dan Istiadat Melayu shall, on the commencement of is Enactment, be vested or imposed on the Majlis, save in so far as may be repugnant to the terms of this Enactment.
