PART VI - MISCELLANEOUS
Section 22. Offence and penalties.
Any person who establishes, manages or operates an Islamic School without a Certificate of Registration issued under this Enactment or acts in contravention of this Enactment or any rules made thereunder, shall be guilty of an offence and, unless a punishment is prescribed for the offence be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, or in the case of a second or subsequent offence, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years.
