Section 52. Interlocutory proceedings.
(1) The Court may pending a trial make on the application of any party, interim orders, for the purpose of preserving any property in issue or of safeguarding the rights of any party or for the purpose of facilitating the trial or hearing of the proceeding, on such terms as may be just.
(2) Any such application may be made orally, and any party affected thereby shall be given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
