PART VII - FINANCIAL MATTERS

Section 117. Estimates.

(1) The Majlis shall prepare and submit to the Ruler-in-Council not later than the 31st day of October in-Council supplementary estimates of expenditure in the Majlis, including therein estimates of all property receivable and disponsible in the ensuing year. The Ruler-in-Council may approve such estimates or may direct that the same be amended. Upon such approval or amendment the said estimates shall be published in the Gazette.

(2) The Majlis may at any time submit to the Ruler-in-Council supplementary estimates of expenditure in respect of the current year, or at any tiem prior to the 31st day of March in any year in respect of the preceding year, and the same may be approved or amended and shall be published in liek manner.

(3) No monies shall be expended, or property disposed of save in accordance with such estimates as aforesaid and upon a voucher signed by the Yang di-Pertua or the Secretary.
