Section 161. Teaching of Religion without Tauliah.

Whoever, save in his own residence and in the presence only of members of his own household, teaches any doctrine of or lesson in the Religion of Islam without a Tauliah from His Royal Highness the Sultan shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months.
