ENACTMENT NO. 3 OF 2002 CONTROL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS (MALACCA) ENACTMENT 2002
PART V - INSPECTORS OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS
Section 19. Appointment of Inspectors of Schools.
(1) The Majlis may appoint such number of Inspectors of Islamic Religious Schools as may be necessary for the purposes of this Enactment.
(2) An Inspector of Schools shall-
(a) conduct the inspection of religious schools from time to time on the teaching of curriculum that is permitted, the use of text books, the teachers employed and the due compliance of this Enactment or the directions of the Registrar;
(b) conduct investigation on any religious school relating to any matter as may be authorised by the Registrar;
(c) inspect the Religious School Account;
(d) report on any irregular matters and to make such proposals as may be necessary to the Registrar; and
(e) perform such duties as directed by Registrar from time to time.
(3) All Inspectors of Schools appointed under subsection (1) shall be subject to the directions and control of the Registrar.
