Section 153. Transmission of records to Syariah Appeal Court.
(1) When an appellant has complied with sections 149 and 151, the Registrar of the Syariah High Court shall forthwith transmit to the Syariah Appeal Court four copies of the record of the proceedings of the case, together with four copies of the notice of appeal and of the petition of appeal.
(2) The Registrar of the Syariah High Court shall also furnish the respondent or his Peguam Syarie with a copy of the record of the proceedings of the case and a copy of the notice of appeal and the petition of appeal.
