Section 80. Defective proceedings.

The Court may, at any time, on its own motion or on the application of any party, and on such terms as may be just, order -

(a) amendment of any defect or erreor in any proceedings;

(b) any amendment necessary for determining the real question in issue or doing substantial justice between the parties.
