Section 129. Improper use of money or property.

(1) Any person who being entrusted with the collection, keeping, custody, administration or delivery of money or property on behalf of the Majlis or any collection of charitable donations for public purpose or any other matter connected with the Religion of Islam, fails to deliver the money or property to the person entitled or fails to submit the accounts of the money to the President, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding four thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.

(2) A conviction under subsection (1) shall not operate to deprive the Majlis of the money or property of charitable donation held by the convicted person.
