Section 17. Presiding over meetings.

(1) The Chairman, or in his absence, the Deputy Chairman shall preside over all meetings of the Majlis.

(2) If the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman are absent from a meeting, the members present shall elect one of their number to preside for the meeting.
