PART III - THE FATWA COMMITTEE

Section 11. Membership of Fatwa Committee

(1) The Fatwa Committee shall consist of the following members-

(a) the

Mufti

, as Chairman,

(b) the Deputy

Mufti

as member, and

Majlis,

not less than two and not exceed than six of fit and proper persons to be appointed by His Royal Highness the Sultan on the advice of the

Mufti.

(2) The appointment of the Fatwa Committee members under paragraph 11(1)(c) shall be published in the Gazette.
