PART III - OFFENCES RELATING TO THE SANCTITY OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM AND ITS INSTITUTION
Section 13. Issuing of fatwa.
(1) No person, except the Mufti or Fatwa Committee, shall whether orally or in writing, make or issue any fatwa relating to the Religion of Islam or Hukum Syarak.
(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
