PART VI - CONVERSION TO ISLAM

Section 100. Method of making a person a Muslim.

(1) A person who wishes to embrace the Religion of Islam shall utter the two clauses of the declaration of faith or the dua kalimah syahadah before any Muslim and thereafter he shall attend before a Qadhi or any person appointed by the Majlis.

(2) The Qadhi or any person appointed by the Majlis shall ascertain the particulars of such person and after he is satisfied, shall make an acknowledgement to the President for the matter to be registered.
