STATE AMAL JARIAH FUND ENACTMENT 1994

Section 3. Establishment of the State Amal Jariah Fund.

(1) There is hereby established a fund to be known as the State Amal Jariah Fund which shall be administered and controlled by a Board of Trustee established under section 4.

(2) The objects for which the Board is established are-

(a)

to accept any grants, donations, endowments, gifts or bequests made to or in favour of the fund;

(b) to promote, stimulate, facilitate and undertake the economic and social development and well being of the Muslim community in the State consistent with Islam Law;

(c) for the propogation and furtherance of the cause of the religion of Islam in the State;

(d) to promote and undertake philanthropic activities.
