Section 3. Constitution of Council of Religion and Malay Custom.

(i) There shall be established a Council of Religion and Malay Custom which shall consist of the President, the Mufti, the Secretary and not less than six other members.

(ii) All members of the Council shall be of the Muslim Religion (according to Ahlisunnah Waljamaah) and all such members, other than the President, the Mufti and the Secretary, shall be appointed by His Highness the Raja for a period not exceeding three years according to Mohammedan calendar and shall be eligible for re-appointment.
