Section 144. Setting down appeals on list.

(1) On receipt of the documents mentioned in section 141 the Registrar of the Mahkamah Rayuan shall number the appeal and enter it on the list of appeals to be heard and give notice to the parties that the appeal has been so entered.

(2) As soon as such date has been fixed the Registrar shall give to the parties of the date of hearing of the appeal.

(3) In any case the Mahkamah Rayuan may, on its own motion or on the application of a party concerned and with reasonable notice to the parties, accelerate or postpone the hearing of an appeal.
