Section 24. Summoning of meetings.

(1) All meetings of the Majlis shall be summoned by the Secretary.

(2) The Yang di-Pertua may at any time direct the Secretary to summon a meeting.

(3) The Secretary shall within fourteen days of receipt of the direction under subsection (2) summon a meeting.

(4) At least seven days notice in writing shall be given of any meeting:

Provided that in an emergency the Yang di-pertua may direct that such notice be dispensed with.

(5) Notice may be sent by post addressed to a member at his last known place of residence and shall be deemed to have been served in the due course of post.

(6) No notice of meetings shall be necessary in the case of any member for the time being out of the State.
