PART IX - GENERAL
Section 88. Savings and transitional
(1) All actions, rules, regulations, proclamations, orders, notices, forms, authorization letters and appointments issued or made under or by virtue of any written law repealed by virtue of this Enactment shall remain in force, in so far as they are not inconsistent with this Enactment, until revoked or replaced by regulations, rules, proclamations, orders, notices, forms, authorization letters or appointments issued or made under this Enactment.
(2) Any inquiry, trial or proceedings done, taken or commenced in or before Mahkamah Rendah Syariah, Mahkamah Tinggi Syariah, or Mahkamah Rayuan Syariah before the commencement of this Enactment in so far as it relates to inquiry, trial or proceedings relating to cases under the previous Enactment is deemed to have been done, taken commenced in or before Mahkamah Rendah Syariah, Mahkamah Tinggi Syariah, or Mahkamah Rayuan Syariah established under the Syariah Courts Enactment (Kedah Darul Aman) 2008.
