Section 80. Majlis to be trustee of mosque.

(1) Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in any written instrument, the Majlis shall be the sole trustee of all mosques in the State and every mosque together with its immovable property or any immovable property appurtenant thereto and used for the purposes of the mosque, other than State land or land reserved for a public purpose, shall as soon as it is registered under the National Land Code and without any conveyance or assignment, vest in the Majlis for the purposes of the Enactment.

(2) The Majlis may give its consent for the improvement and support of the mosque.
