PART IV - GENERAL PROCEDURE

Section 19. Advocate and Solicitor.

(1) Notwithstanding anything in any written law, an advocate and solicitor who is a Muslim, may appear in any Court to represent any party in any proceedings if his appearance does not contravene the provisions of the Hukum Syarak.

(2) The Court may make an order that the presence of any advocate and solicitor is contrary to the provisions of the Hukum Syarak and such an order shall be final.
