CRIMES (SYARIAH) ENACTMENT 1992
| Any person who is entrusted to collect, hold, keep in safe custody, manage or deliver any money or property of Baitulmal, public donation or other matters in connection with the Religion of Islam, who fails to deliver the money or property to those entitled or fails to pay to those determined or fails to furnish proper account to the Majlis is guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both. The Court may order such sum or property to be delivered to those entitled or to Baitulmal. |
