CHAPTER 2 - OF ARREST, ESCAPE AND RE-ARREST

Section 26. Power to pursue and re-arrest.

If a person in lawful custody escapes or is rescued, the person from whose custody escapes or was rescued, the person from whose custody he escaped or was rescued may immediately pursue and arrest him in any place, either within or without the jurisdiction where he was so in custody, and deal with such person as he might have done on the original arrest.
