PART VII - FINANCIAL MATTERS

Section 104. Establishment of General Endowment Fund.

(1) A Fund to be known as General Endowment Fund is hereby established. Except as otherwise provided under this Enactment such Fund shall consist of all money and property movable or immovable which is contributed, paid or payable to the Fund by any person in
any person in accordance with fIukum Syara'

or this Enactment.

(2) All zakat and fitrah collected in accordance with this Enactment shall be paid into the Fund but shall be accounted in a separate account of the Fund.

(3) All money and property in the General Endowment Fund shall be ve$ted in the Majlis who shall administer them in accordance with this Enactment and the rules made thereunder:

Provided that investment of assets and funds vested in the Majlis may be sold, realised, charged or disposed of and all the assets, funds and the proceeds thereof may be invested from time to time in any investments authorised by any written law for the time being in force for investments of trust funds.

(4) Subject to the provisions of this Enactment the Majlis, with the approval of His Royal Highness the Sultan may make rules for the collection, administration and distribution of all property of the General Endowment Fund.
