Section 116. Possession of books, magazines and others contrary to Hukum Syarak.

Whoever has in his control, keeping or possession books, magazines, documents, films or letters which contain any teaching, fatwa or opinion which is contrary to the Hukum Syarak or any fatwa which has been issued in the State by or on behalf of the Majlis, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding four thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
