Section 12. Declaring to be non-Muslim.

Any Muslim who declares himself to be a non-Muslim so as to avoid any action being taken against him under this Enactment or any other law in force is guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
